€20,000 in funding would go a long way in supporting key community initiatives. With strong, inclusive ties across our community, the centre is well-placed to support a broad and diverse range of community members. This funding would help cover vital ongoing costs that often fall outside mainstream support, including:
Quay Community and Youth Projects
Empowering young people and the wider community. The project now involves the Quay Community Garden, Quay Youth Summer Programme and various other youth programmes and activities for children and young people throughout the year.
Older People’s Project
Reducing isolation and promoting wellbeing for older residents. Our Social Club & Tus Nua programme are perfect to unwind, enjoy some music, learn new skills, and make lasting connections.
Support & Capacity Building
Supporting volunteers and community members through training, resources, and capacity building for a stronger, more connected community.
