Social Club

Our Social Club is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy some music, and make lasting connections. Entry is free, though donations are always welcome.

  • Where: The Quay Community Centre
  • When:  2-4 PM – The last Monday of every month

There’s no need to register in advance—just drop in for an afternoon of good company and lively conversation. With regular events, tea and biscuits, and a community-focused approach.

Befriending Telephone Service

Befriending is a volunteer delivered weekly telephone call service for older or vulnerable people in Westport town and surrounding areas. Calls are made to people who are living alone and may be experiencing loneliness or isolation, and who would benefit from a friendly weekly phone call.  The service operates for two hours every Thursday morning from Westport Family and Community Resource Centre.

Tech Help Hub

Available to anyone aged 55 and over who needs assistance with their tablets, laptops, or phones. Whether you’re having trouble with an app, setting up email, or getting online, we’re here to help. 

This free, weekly service is available every Wednesday: 3 – 5pm at Westport FRC.

Tus Nua

A sessional project designed for older community members seeking connection, companionship, and engaging experiences. Through a series of activities, participants enjoy a welcoming environment to socialise and learn.
